The first part of the Bold Branding process is to get some clarity on your business and how you feel about your existing brand work: we’ll talk about what has worked in the past and what has not.

We may decide to just sharpen-up your existing work - ‘if it ain’t broke don’t fix it’. Equally there may be an opportunity to start afresh with a new message and a new vitality. Of course if it’s a new venture we’ll create solid branding foundations to carry you forward.

As every client is different and every problem unique, there is no cookie-cutter approach. But one constant is that every job starts with a whole lot of questions which will help me form a better foundation for the creative work.

The more I know about your business and how this project fits into it - the better the end result will be. It’s about looking at the problem from different angles and finding a way to stand out. And I don’t mean just visually, there is lots of great looking design and advertising, but without a clear, powerful message to separate them from their competitors it’s a waste of time and money.

Sometimes, to help get your advertising and design strategy in shape we would involve an independent marketing consultant to look at your businesses strengths and opportunities as well as your weaknesses, and really get your core values in order.

With those things clearly articulated, we can develop strong, focused creative work for you. Having a marketing professional give clarity to your business can be surprisingly beneficial, bringing plenty of new ideas to get better results from your customers, clients, staff, and even suppliers.

Besides marketing consultants, there are many different people I collaborate with; copywriters, web developers, photographers, illustrators, media strategists, film producers, printers, and so on – naturally it depends on the project at hand. However, at all times I will act as your creative director and project manager, supervising the team - to make sure the process is smooth and the end-product terrific.
